Dr. Courtney Stzo is an Assistant Professor in the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies at Queen’s University. She is one of four co-authors of the unprecedented policy paper on Anti-Racism In Hockey (2020). Her research generally focuses on inequality and injustice in the world of sport and physical activity. Dr. Stzo explored hockey experiences of racism for her doctoral research and will be continuing a portion of that project by examining South Asian specific hockey programs’ development. She is interested in the implications of these ethnically-segregated spaces on notions of multiculturalism in Canada.
